The Leasing Agent is responsible for attracting and retaining qualified residents to maximize physical occupancy at the assigned community.
As a leasing agent, you are the main point of contact with customers ‒ whether they call the property’s office, view its web site, or show up for a tour.
Your focus is to warmly connect with prospects and successfully showcase the advantages, features and benefits of the property.
The leasing agent performs multiple functions to include marketing, leasing, resident relations, and office administration.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1-2 years’ experience in leasing, marketing, or general office administration
Warm, engaging, inviting personality
Strong customer service, sales, and personal interaction skills
Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; Yardi preferred
Self-motivated, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and reliable attendance
Professional image
Valid Georgia driver’s license, proof of personal auto insurance, and acceptable driving record
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Interact with potential and existing residential tenants
Provide general clerical assistance to the community office
Greet potential renters, show vacant apartments, explain pricing and lease terms, process rental applications, and secure lease renewals
Complete lease agreements and collect rental deposits
Prepare flyers, ads, and promotional materials
Respond to resident inquiries
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
Salary will be based on experience; minimum $13.
09/hour.
