Job Description: Plans, directs or coordinates activities related to the management and rental of investment property and real estate management.
Job Responsibilities & Performance Standards: Assists customers with all phases of leasing while remaining within all specifications, laws, and regulations.
Compiles and maintains records of operating expenses and income.
Maintains an inventory of all property.
Maintains records of acquisitions, relocations, and deed files May hire and supervise rental agents, property clerks, building superintendents, or other support staff performing operational, clerical, or maintenance duties.
Negotiate or approve the rental or lease of various properties and ensure that the terms of lease agreements are met.
Prepares and administers contracts for the provision of property services including services such as a building demolition removal of UST and asbestos.
Prepares reports and reviews rents to ensure they are at market value.
Sample Technical Competencies: Ability to negotiate, develop, and prepare property agreements.
Ability to negotiate and/or approve rental or lease of various properties.
Ability to enter, record, store, or maintain information in either written or electronic form.
Ability to maintain inventory; track receipt, sending, and delivery of materials.
Ability to determine the property rental market value.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, public administration, or related area.
One year of related experience to the area of assignment OR Four years of experience in the related area of assignment OR One year of experience at the lower level or position equivalent Additional Information: The Application Process All qualified applicants will be considered.
