The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in health care facility, certified dietary manager, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is capable of taking direction well, manage employees, communicate and multi-tasking effectively.
*Responsibilities and Duties:*
Make frequent inspections of all work, storage, and serving areas to determine that regulations governing food safety and sanitation are followed.
Daily supervision of kitchen, service line, and dining room.
Oversees that the food service operation maintains the highest level of sanitary conditions as required.
Prepare cleaning schedule, production worksheet, and staff schedule.
Planning and set-up of special functions as required.
Management of the dietary department to include staffing, food ordering, food preparation, food delivery, and clean-up in accordance with facility policies.
Supervises the handling, preparation and storage of food, maintenance of equipment, records, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Administrative functions of the department.
Ordering, receiving and inventory control of supplies and equipment.
Maintains compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the facility.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
High school diploma/ GED
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM, CFPP) certification required.
ServSafe certification required.
Supervisory experience and organizational skills.
2+ years experience in healthcare food service setting preferred.
Computer and clerical skills preferred.
Ability to relate and communicate with co-workers, residents, and the general public in friendly and professional manner.
Problem solve and bring about effective solutions.
