JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for monitoring student behavior during meal service.
Assists with the flow of meal service, the cleanliness of the cafeteria, and student monitoring and supervision during meal service times.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Principal and Nutrition Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Manages students during meal service (behavior problems will be referred to the teacher or principal in accordance with guidelines established by the school site.
2.
Communicates with students and school staff in a positive and professional manner utilizing appropriate customer service and interpersonal skills.
3.
Circulates throughout the cafeteria or in areas where meals are served and/or eaten by students; assists students who need assistance.
4.
Assists with the flow of meal service including pickup in the food lines and food, trash, waste disposal, and tray returns during dismissal.
5.
Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness in the cafeteria, including wiping tables, trays, assisting with spills, table trash, etc.
6.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

SALARY:

Grade 16 ($11.
76-$13.
26), three (3) hours per day, five (5) days per week.
