Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia.

Job Summary
This positon works under the general direction and supervision of the Sports Information Director.
The position is the official scorer and maintains essential in-game statistics at home basketball games.
Responsibilities include maintaining scores and overseeing game scorebook for all men's and women's basketball games.
Responsibilities
Duties include all duties accompanying in-game statistics for intercollegiate basketball contests.
These duties include serving as the official scorekeeper by tallying points, free throws and fouls during games.
Required Qualifications
Required Educational Requirements
High school diploma and basic math skills.
Other Required Qualifications
Computer competency.
Must be punctual and dependable.
Night and weekend work is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
Previous experience as a basketball participant or coach is desired.
Previous experience as a basketball bookkeeper is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of applicable University and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
Ability to work with the public.
