What You’ll Do:
Collect information and file Currency Transaction Reports (CTR’s), Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR’S), and other required compliance related documents (i.
e.
FinCen 314a requests) ensuring compliance with required deadlines.
Responsible for processes and alerts as well as monitoring account activity and high risk accounts in BSA monitoring software; conducting investigations, and taking appropriate steps to address potential money laundering, fraud, and other high risk activity.
Stay abreast of and ensures compliance with associated laws and regulations related to BSA/AML/OFAC that impact the credit union and provide feedback where appropriate on necessary policy and procedure updates.
Assists in the revision and design of forms, products, and other programs to ensure compliance.
Assists with the completion of BSA/AML/OFAC risk assessment/on an annual basis.
Delivers high level of quality service (both internally and externally), to include providing timely and professional responses.
Demonstrates teamwork by exhibiting the following: contributing to team effort, initiative, dependability, positive attitude, good attendance, tact, and diplomacy.

What You Need To Succeed: Job Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years progressive experience in a financial service industry
Preferred Education, Certifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other Business related discipline
Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:
Knowledge of consumer laws and regulations
Knowledge and skill requirements: Customer service skills, knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures, excellent communication skills (oral and written), time management skills, strong organizational skills, and computer skills (Word and Excel), basic account general ledger knowledge.
Ability to recognize fraudulent activity, analyze, problem solve and handle sensitive situations.
